## Format Rules
| | |
| :------------------------------------ | :-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **PDH Rules** | See the [Pauper Dragon Highlander](https://pdhhomebase.com/rules/) page for more details or questions |
| **Proxies** | Proxies are allowed and encouraged. Cards must be clearly recognizable.
- Ex: Black-and-white proxies are **banned** since the color is not easily recognizable. [^6] |
| **Conceding** | Surrendering is a sorcery speed action that can be taken in the following scenarios:
1. A Board Lock that makes it impossible for any other players to win the game.
2. An Infinite Combo that makes it impossible for any other players to win the game. [^4]
3. If 2 players remain, a player may concede if the current board state makes the game unwinnable. |
| **Slow Play Rules
( Durdle-ing )** | Players need to make sure that they are actively trying to win the game.
If a player has a dominant board state and are simply prolonging the game, Pyro can be called on to force action.[^5][^8] |
| **Conduct** | Actions which may result in punishment include cheating, fighting with another player(verbally and non-verbally), and intentionally forfeiting a game. Any concerns of this nature should be taken up with Pyro. |
| **Takebacks** | Be kind to other players, "rewinds" are allowed, but only if new information has not been learned. Use your best judgement or ask the TO. |
| **Tiebreakers** | Any tiebreakers are decided by each party rolling a d20. |
| **Time Limit** | 90 Minutes, then overtime. |
| **Overtime** | After 90 minutes, the game goes into overtime.
- In overtime, the current turn is completed, and then each player who had one turn less than the starting player gets one more turn. Please note the starting player.
- Example: Player A starts the game. Turn order: A → B → C → D. The game reaches the 75-minute time limit during Player C's turn. Player C is then allowed to finish their turn, and Player D gets a full turn. Then the game is over. Players A and B do not get another turn because they both had the same number of turns as the starting player.
- If possible, the final is played without a time limit. |
| **Cancellations** | You can cancel, but I'll be sad about it. Please work with Pyro to handle logistics as soon as you know you cannot make it. |
#### Point Structure
